I took a visit to the Bakersfield California Railroad yard, or at least one of them, and took some candid shots. This one ended up in a black and white tone.

Basically, I almost had my camera on this old railroad tie I found amongst a pile of junk and other railroad ties. I had no Idea what the shot was going to be of, except for a rough Idea. I liked the way it turned out.

Strange days 2

I went a little crazy with a filter in Ifranview that I thought made a rather routine snapshot something very strange and wonderful. This was taken in downtown Bakersfield, CA.
