Bakersfield. This is the front of a Laundry service. This was the Inspiration to start all these night shots. I saw this one time as I drove by in the Dark. Worked out pretty good I think.
The green is coming from the light and Is seen by the camera, but not the naked Eye.

Abstract 6

This is an exercise in abstract Macro work using diffused lighting. Prior to this shot, I have either used the light provided or used the camera's light and never tried to manipulate the light in any manner. I am going to start experimenting with the manipulation of light and see what I can come up with. I'm starting out on a small scale right now.
I am unfortunately very familiar with the subject Material. It is used to separate daily your medicine intake, at least as far as pills are concerned.

Across a very Dry Kern River Bed

These were taken quite a while back, I guess from the Archives. These also were taken with a camera other than the Fuji I now use. I gave this camera to my youngest son who promptly ruined the Display screen and I don't think he even took one picture with it - Kids.
The white things in the Background are huge oil storage tanks. A some what common site around these parts.

Truck 55
I guess the brightness of the day kind of messed with the automatic settings on the camera.
Another shot from the rear of this gorgeous white Fire Truck with Ladder. I guess It's a guy thing.

Just In Case

You thought I had tired of posting images of fire trucks, guess again. Well, probably most of you weren't around then, so I guess this is for the old timers. I really appreciate you guys hanging in there with me.

BR> Architectural design with color is what this is. It's a weird little angled thing over a doorway, that didn't make any sense to me other than to have something to break up a large white wall. Or maybe it was to draw your eye to the doorway as your walking up, just in case you couldn't see the doors.

Some unusual Paint
This building is right near where I found the White El Camino alongside the Tan '51 Chevy Pickup. Tis a motorcycle Repair Shop. Apparently, the guy that does the graphics is very reasonably Priced.

This is the same car as Yesterdays, along with a very nice truck parked alongside. If you want, I have more images of both Vehicles, especially the truck, but I'd appreciate a post to let me know weather you want to see more images like this or not. And yes, it is a not so subtle attempt at some comments from you guys. You have to click on the title of the Image and then at the bottom is the comment thingy,

Nice Ride
I guess you guys get car images the next few days. Kind of a theme on 4 wheels. Yeah that's it. I got a white one today. I'd love to tell you the model and year and size motor and impress the heck out of you with inside info on how this car was used in the Fred Hooliday Murder 20 years ago, But I can't.

Streaming Clouds

White streaks of cloud stream across a dark blue sky. The winds were blowing good that day up in the atmosphere.
