Purple Tint

I bought my wife some flowers and these fell off. I posed them on a Coke can and wallah -

Purple and white

These flowers were deep in shadow. It's one of those images that didn't end up looking like it should have. It seems this is a weak point with this particular camera. If it would have been film, I am sure it would have turned out much better. Still the flowers are pretty.

A fuzzy Macro

I have yet to figure out why the detail Is so sharp on the stems and lacking on the flowers. I think the red of the flowers kind of over stimulated the picture taking process. This probably would have turned out better with film, but it is what it is. The photo is basically just cropped , the red is as the camera saw it.

Another Choice Ride

Another well crafted Pickup Truck That I found in Downtown Bakersfield, CA. I'd like to thank the driver for stopping for a few minutes while I immortalized his Ride.

Butterflies

Two butterflies getting a midday snack off the plant in My front yard that I should now the name of since I planted it but don't. This bush was supposed to be a vine. I don't know weather the actual tag on the plant got switched or what, but this is one bushy vine.

Purple flowers

I would love to tell you what kind of flower this is, since it is in my yard and I planted it, but alas, I can't right now. This was taken about 2 weeks ago and the blooms are much more vigorous now.

I found this tree on the coast of California that had these flowers. It was a good sized tree and I was rather amazed to see this purple vision growing amongst the leaves, in numerous spots.
