The Culprit

My old thrashed leaking water pump off of my 1981 Chevy Impala 305 cubic inch engine. This thing was an absolute nightmare to get off and just about as much fun to put back on. The one good thing about being unemployed was that it gave me lots of free time to work on this thing. This is back in the good old days when American cars were put together with Metric and standard bolts and nuts. I bet it took at least twice as many wrenches and sockets to get this off as it normally would just because of all the different sized nuts and bolts. I have more pictures of this procedure to display.
