Ok Guys, who's car is next?

I keep watching as the number of these tiny house finches keep slowly growing. I very much prefer their sweet sound to the caws from the crows that use to be around. Not to mention they are much more photographic, but they do tend to make me work for their images. They are quick little suckers. I was really surprised to catch this many gathered together, They usually are singular or maybe in pairs.

Nice shots--a little dark though?
Yes, the lighting was a problem shooting towards the sky with the little fellas taking up very little space in the focus finder. I was more concerned with getting them in focus. I have noticed before with this camera that is a bit of a trade off, you can have great lighting and a blurry object or this way. This Fuji s700 is a fantastic camera but it does have it's limitations. These are basically untouched except to add some contrast, which made the birds stand out a little but made the picture even darker.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate it.

Nice. It is hard to photograph birds. What do you use for image editing? I know of a way to fix the exposure in Photoshop.
I use Irfanview. I'd love a copy of Photoshop, but alas It's freeware for me. I also use Piknik from time to time. I dabble in Gimp, but Irfanview is the heavyweight I utilize mostly.

Thank you Rachel. You having a good day?
